Full job description
We have an immediate position open for a Diesel Mechanic to work on our fleet of garbage trucks at our Gilmer, Texas location. This position is heavy in preventative maintenance, electrical, and hydraulics along with engine diagnosis and minor engine repair. We have an excellent management team. We offer stability and consistent overtime along with opportunity for advancement.
Monday-Friday, night shift typically from 2pm with some weekends. 10-12 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays for extra OT. We offer top hourly wage and because of all the OT our mechanics make great money plus we offer family benefits, 401k, and vacation.
The ideal candidate will possess:

2+ years’ experience in heavy diesel truck maintenance and repair.

Class A or B CDL is a plus.

Be able to work in all weather conditions.
