Security Shift Supervisor (Overnight) – Desoto, TX

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule

• Friday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM & 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Sunday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Security Shift Lead to oversee overnight security operations in Desoto, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing leadership, direction, and support to on-duty security personnel. The ideal candidate is experienced, decisive under pressure, and capable of managing incidents professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents and escalations

• Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems

• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms in a timely manner

• Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports

• Ensure all security protocols and post orders are followed

• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members

• Assist with training and mentoring of security staff

Requirements

• 1–3 years of security experience (supervisory experience preferred)

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure

• Basic computer proficiency (report writing, email, incident systems)

• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Valid driver’s license required
