As a Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance in Rolling Meadows, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and contribute to a professional environment through Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.

Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, following visitor management procedures, and reporting access irregularities according to site-specific protocols.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.

Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
