Placerville & Camino, CA | 40 Hours/Week | Preschool Through Young Adult Caseload
Looking for a well-paying school-based OT role with variety and autonomy? This opportunity offers $80/hour local pay ($3,200/week) and the chance to work with students ranging from preschool through young adulthood across multiple school sites in beautiful El Dorado County.
Pay & Schedule
Position: Occupational Therapist (School-Based)
Location: Placerville & Camino, CA
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Contract Length: 36 Weeks
Start Date: August 14, 2026
Assignment Type: Itinerant School-Based Position
Compensation

Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.

Develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs.

Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student planning.
-
Ensure compliance with all state, district, and professional practice standards.
Required Qualifications
-
Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
-
Compliance with all applicable professional standards.
-
Must meet federal, state, and local employment requirements.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
-
One year or more of Occupational Therapy experience.
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
-
Experience serving diverse student populations.
-
Current CPR certification if required.
-
Current TB screening and health documentation if applicable.

Caseload located across school sites in Placerville and Camino .

Student population: Preschool through Young Adult .

Behavioral Support Level: Low.

Medical Support Level: Level 2.
