Job Description
D & H Landscape Associates, LLC is looking for an Entry Level Landscape Designer to design residential landscapes, including site plans, planting designs, and construction details, under the supervision of a Licensed Landscape Architect. Req. Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Suite. Solid understanding of construction documents and process. Specific Duties:
- Under the supervision of a Licensed Landscape Architect, develop residential landscape designs by conducting site analyses to evaluate terrain, soil conditions, drainage patterns, and existing vegetation. 2. Create computer-generated renderings and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite to present design concepts to clients. 3. Prepare site grading plans addressing elevation changes and proper water drainage. 4. Design planting plans specifying plant species, quantities, and locations based on site conditions and client preferences. 5. Prepare construction details and notes for hardscape elements including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. 6. Develop cost estimates by calculating material quantities and labor requirements. 7. Attend site meetings with clients and contractors to review design progress. 8. Assistance on construction documentation and implementation. 9. Occasionally assist with commercial landscape design projects as needs arise.
