Now Hiring: ASL Interpreters (2026–2027 School Year) – Northern California
Locations: K–12 Schools throughout Lodi & Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time School Schedule (30 hours/week)
Pay: Competitive rates paid weekly ?? ($1,200 - 1,500 weekly based on experience)
Extras: Travel packages & housing stipends available
Duration: Late July 2026 - June 2027

What You’ll Do

Provide real-time ASL interpretation for classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities

Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers

Adapt interpretation style to meet individual student needs and learning environments

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards

Complete required documentation in alignment with district guidelines
What We’re Looking For

Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting, Deaf Studies, or related field (preferred)
-
EIPA, RID, or state-required interpreter certification (as applicable)
-
State Board of Education Interpreter Certification (if required)
-
Understanding of and commitment to professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification (if required)
-
Ability to meet all health and compliance requirements (TB test, physical, etc.)

Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
