Job Description
We are looking for compassionate English Speaking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for Sussex County, with the ability to work Monday through Friday for day time and early evening hours.
Part Time and Full Time Hours Available
Certified Home Health Aide Responsibilities:
Provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Perform domestic and household tasks (i.e.: laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation)
Accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital if necessary
Provide medication reminders
Assist with clients personal care activities (grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, mobility)
Maintain patients care records and document provided services
Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Certified Home Health Aide Skills & Requirements
Proven work experience as home health aide preferred
Ability to monitor patient and and communicate any changes or needs of the patient
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30lbs
Proficiency in English Required
Valid identification and proof of ability to work in the US
Must be able to commute to Sussex County locations
