What you’ll be doing :

The Part-Time Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining hard-surface and carpeted floors throughout the facility. The technician will operate floor care equipment and ensure floors are clean, polished, and well-maintained.

You’ll also: 

  • Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers

  • Strip, wax, and refinish floors as needed

  • Clean and maintain carpeted areas

  • Perform routine floor maintenance and inspections

  • Maintain equipment in proper working condition

  • Follow all safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures

  • Report floor or facility maintenance concerns

  

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Knowledge or experience in floor care and/or related field desired.

  • Available for shift work.

  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor while engaged in repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisor and other workers.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more routinely.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (20 hours per week)
