Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift to support the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in Beaver, PA. Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3pm-12am. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Your responsibility will be to foster a safety-first environment and actively promote practices that prevent incidents. You’ll also implement safety programs to minimize workplace accidents.

  • You’ll oversee the allocation of manpower within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining 5S+ standards while meeting or exceeding productivity expectations.

  • Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as needed. Report process and equipment problems promptly and collaborate with relevant personnel for assistance.

  • As part of your role, you’ll train, upgrade, and evaluate operators’ skills. Providing ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance is essential, and regular reviews of operator performance are necessary.

  • Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to labor contract provisions. When required, apply fair and judicious disciplinary measures.

  • Keep accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and departmental activities. Upkeep employee timecards for accurate and prompt payroll.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a leader of people.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing OR operations environment.

  • At least 1 year as a leader of people in a union environment.

Position Success Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities.

  • Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization.

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding.
