Amergis is currently seeking experienced Oncology RNs for TRAVEL assignments in Hyannis, MA !
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 wks
Number of Openings: 1
Start Date: 9/8
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: Days 40 hrs/wk (4x10s) available!
*Every other weekend, every other holiday

Requirements

2+ years of Oncology experience

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate

Outpatient experience required

Travel experience required

Demonstrated skills in the education and counseling of oncology patients in both curative and palliative treatment modalities

Capable of working with terminally ill patients and their families
The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.
Minimum Requirements:

Current RN license in state practicing

One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred

Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
