Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a female DSP who is kind, compassionate, and has experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Those with intellectual disabilities may struggle to recognize and/or express their needs and emotions, causing them to become agitated. An empathetic, patient individual with an open mind and strong communication skills would be an ideal fit for this population.
WILL NEED THE DSP TO HAVE FLEXIBILITY ON HOURS-- THEY ARE TBD AND MAY CHANGE
Responsibilities/Job Duties

Supervise and assist client in safely preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition.

Assist with all ADLs, including bathing, dressing, toileting, brushing teeth etc.

Interact and engage with client

Make frequent checks to ensure safety

Assist with light housekeeping

Help client identify and achieve various goals
