Job Duties: Establish a science-led, non-promotional engagement model, distinct from marketing-driven healthcare professional (HCP) interactions, to uphold medical integrity and foster trust with the medical community. Create and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and professional associations across the therapeutic areas of Pain Management, Allergy, Digestive Health, and Nutritionals. Provide scientific support on clinical and non-clinical research, including real world evidence, utilizing data science tools and existing data to advance brand science, scientific advocacy, professional endorsement, and competitive differentiation for commercial products. Bridge the gap between R&D and external healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring effective communication and integration of scientific insights and data into product development and lifecycle management. Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as commercial partners, R&D Franchise, Medical Affairs portfolio leaders, Translational Sciences and Clinical Research, to identify and deliver scientific research and HCP engagement strategy in support of commercial and scientific innovation. Develop and execute a comprehensive HCP engagement medical affairs strategy for the assigned therapeutic areas, aligning with R&D objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, and Commercial teams. Oversee development and dissemination of scientific materials. Support clinical studies, real-world evidence generation, publication and conference strategy, and amplification of scientific messaging. Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, industry standards, and regulations.
May telecommute per company's policies (hybrid).
Requirements: Employer will accept a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medicine, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Manager HCP Medical Affairs Self-Care North America-related occupation.
