Job Description

Oakland Community College is seeking a hands-on Colleague Developer to support and enhance its Ellucian Colleague systems. This role involves leading development efforts, providing technical direction, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions that support the college’s operations.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $35/hr

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in application software programming
Hands-on experience with Ellucian Colleague development or programming
Familiarity with Ethos integration framework
Proficiency in Envision programming language • Experience working in an educational environment

• Familiarity with GUI applications

• Knowledge of SQL for data querying and management

• Exposure to RESTful APIs for system integration and communication
