ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-
HVAC experience is required. Must have experience installing, replacing, repairing, and servicing industrial HVAC units.
-
2-5 years of electrical, conduct, air pipe fabrication, plumbing, and HVAC.
-
Fabricates chutes, equipment guarding, extruded aluminum fabrication, etc.
-
Operate standard fabricating equipment such as saws, benders, etc
-
Dismantle machines and perform necessary repairs using hand tools.
-
Replace broken or defective parts.
-
Trouble shoot and repair problems.
-
Install all types of pipes and plumbing.
-
Trouble shoot and repair pneumatic systems / problems.
-
Preferred experience bending conduit and pulling wire for electrical service.
-
Perform preventative maintenance on all facility machinery.
-
Climb ladders and work on the roof and outside in all weather.
-
Maintain good housekeeping and practice good safe work habits.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diplomas or GED is required.
-
2-5 years if electrical, conduit, air pipe, plumbing, HVAC, and vehicle maintenance.

Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
-
Be able to use Laptop/Notebook computer for machine program diagnostics.
-
Be able to diagnose problems with process machinery and repair the problem.
-
Possess experience in operating standard hand tools and measuring instruments.
-
Mechanical aptitude to include the ability to perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of the job.

Readily accepts and acts on directions from Supervisor.
-
The ability to Weld is a plus.
-
The ability to use an end mill, lathe, and other machine shop equipment is a plus.

Electrical experience is a plus.

Experience maintaining plant equipment such as compressors, dryers, generators,

Forklifts, buildings, water supply and drain/sewer is a plus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to find, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
