Mental Health Technician Position Details:

Facility: Integrated Stabilization Unit

Location: New Port Richey, FL

Status: Full time, Hourly

Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
The Mental Health Technician Responsibilities:
-
Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
Required Certification/Licensures:
-
BLS (Basic Life Support)
-
CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred
-
Patient Care Technician - preferred
Required Education:
-
High School or Equivalent
-
Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred
Required Experience:
- 6 months – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
