LOCATION:Petersham Center School in Petersham, MA
PAY:$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:Follows the school calendar
Morning Program: 6:30 AM – 8:05 AM
Afternoon Program: 2:50 PM – 6:00 PM
Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Position Responsibilities

Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.

Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.

Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
Experience and Education
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must meetONEof the following qualification options:
-
A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degreeandat least three months of experience working with school-age children.
-
A high school diploma or equivalentandat least six months of experience working with school-age children, including at least three months of supervised experience in a school-age childcare program.
-
At least nine months of experience working with school-age children, including at least three months of supervised experience in a school-age childcare program.
