Technician Mfg. Egr. Hiroshima

Description

1. New Product Launch and Equipment Introduction

Support the design, introduction, and start-up of new equipment and tooling in accordance with the New Product Development Process (FLP)

Support equipment acceptance and verification based on the equipment Specification of Work (SOW)

Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Feasibility Studies (FS)

Support sampling activities in accordance with the approved sampling plan

Support the establishment and validation of appropriate equipment process parameters through sampling

Support process improvements for identified issues, including parameter optimization and feedback on equipment specifications

2. Mass Production Line Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

Perform changeovers and verify, record, and confirm equipment parameters after changeover

Support optimization and validation of equipment parameters related to process changes and continuous improvement activities

Implement configuration changes to the traceability system (CAQ) in connection with process changes and improvement activities

Execute equipment maintenance in accordance with the maintenance plan and manage spare parts

3. General Requirements

Maintain and promote workplace 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety)

Comply with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards

Immediately escalate abnormalities in accordance with the Stop–Call–Wait principle

Propose and actively participate in continuous improvement activities

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience

Ability to perform job duties in Japanese

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

Academic background or learning experience in Factory Automation (FA), Industrial Engineering (IE), and/or PLC

Academic background or learning experience in statistical methods such as FMEA, DOE, and Cpk

Academic background or learning experience in CAD
