With only 57 rooms and suites, the hotel welcomes guests into a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of Japan’s iconic capital. Highly personalised service, bespoke experiences and tailored itineraries unlock Tokyo’s endless possibilities for exploration, while memorable dining awaits at SÉZANNE, the award-winning French restaurant, and Maison Marunouchi, the hotel’s all-day bistro.

About the role:

The Food & Beverage Captain provides exceptional quality and service to Maison Marunouchi guests. In this role, you will be tasked with providing an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’ needs and as an expert on the menu options; and delivering memorable guest experiences. This role is part of the Maison Marunouchi, reporting into the Assistant Restaurant.

What you will do:

  • Provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.

  • Anticipate guest needs a d satisfaction; offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

  • Assist in clearing and resetting tables according to service standards

What you bring:

  • An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task

  • High level of understanding and knowledge of food and wine

  • Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset

Schedule & Hours:

  • 40 working hours per week.
