Full job description

This is a casual (per diem) position working 10-hour varied day shifts. The role requires flexibility throughout the week, with approximately 1–2 scheduled shifts per week. Team members are also required to work one or more late shifts during each 5-week scheduling period. Call responsibilities include one Saturday shift approximately every six weeks. This position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or a minimum of six months of recent experience in an Interventional Cath Lab.
  • Technical competence in aspects of patient monitoring, diagnostic/therapeutic Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RCIS and /or RCES
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor in EP and Cath Lab experience
  • Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation
