Job Description:
-
Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems
-
Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
-
Keeps current on maintenance logs and documentation
-
Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition
-
Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with operations
-
Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested
-
Assists in tests, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under direct supervision
-
Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner
-
Responds to emergency calls and takes call in accordance with facility needs
-
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]

Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals [Required]

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists [Required]

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes [Required]
-
Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment [Required]
-
Basic Microsoft Office computer skills [Required]
-
Proficient in the operation of gas and electric outside equipment and tools [Preferred]
-
Ability to read and understand work orders [Required]
-
Ability to enter data in CMMS System [Required]
-
Complete all work as assigned [Required]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 1+ year experience in healthcare setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Driver's License (DL) [Required]

Pay Range:
$17.63 - $28.20
Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
