What are your contributions to the team?

Establish work assignments for subordinates
-
Conduct required meetings on schedule in accordance with scheduled guidelines
-
Enforce company rules and regulations and attendance policy
-
Enforce, interpret, and correctly apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
-
Perform supervisory responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, counseling sessions, proper issuance of disciplinary actions including terminations, and professional development
-
Analyze work status in order to determine if production schedule and quality guidelines will be met
-
Create recovery plans/corrective actions when necessary
-
Coordinate cross functionally to support the success of the schedule
-
Ensure financial goals and objectives set by department are met and adhered to
-
Ensure staffing is consistent with budgetary and production requirements.

Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment as required by Company and OSHA requirements.
How to thrive in this role?

You have a minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing experience
-
You have a minimum of 2 years leadership / Supervisory or Lead experience
-
You have Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments

You demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people and build a strong team

You have strong Verbal and written communications skills

You have training skills necessary to provide employee training

You have planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting

You have union experience preferred

You have control of budget
-
manage time keeping system to ensure employees hours ae accurate and attendances tracked

Experience with electronic work instructions

Manufacturing aircraft assembly knowledge

Basic OSHA Knowledge

Lean Manufacturing experience (yellow belt, green belt certified) is a nice to have.
