The intern is responsible for the supervision, training, and management of the food operation. Ensures that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

Job Responsibilities

  • The intern?will be responsible?for going around the dining hall and gathering surveys from students but also faculty?and staff who join us for lunch and dinner.?

  • Going around campus and promoting the food and events that will be served in the dining hall.?

  • Running all social?media accounts of the dining hall.?

  • Tabling events in the dining?room when we have weekly/monthly events.?

  • Responsible?for check-ins with the district marketing team to help elevate?the experience in the dining hall.?

  • The?intern?should have or know Aramark meal plans and benefits

  • The?intern?should have a bright and exciting personality?

  • Have good idea about social media (photos, videos, promotional post, etc)?

  • The intern?should have an idea of graphic design

  • The student intern must have some practice in cash handling

  • Other duties assigned by manager

Qualifications

? Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions

? Ability to frequently lift, push, pull or carry up to 25 lbs.

? Ability to perform basic arithmetic

? May require walking from one side of campus to another regardless of adverse weather

? Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

? May require working with chemicals, heated equipment, steam and other at risk conditions

? Strong organizational skills

? Must be a student at WNMU
