Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Technician (Tolling) to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of toll equipment systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The schedule for this position is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. This role is a full-time contract position and onsite , located in Pompano Beach, FL .

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedures

  • Utilize tools like volt/amp meters,oscilloscopes, and network analyzers

  • Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspections of equipment

  • Troubleshoot equipmentmalfunctions and networking issues

  • Configure toll equipment software andnetwork devices

  • Conduct dailysite inspectionsof tolling equipment and systems

  • Install, maintain, and monitorCCTV camerasandNVRs

  • Assist withequipment installationand testing at tolling sites

  • Work safely at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Completemaintenance documentationaccurately and timely

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Knowledge ofelectronic systemsand components

  • Skilled in using technical tools and software environments (Windows,Unix, Linux)

  • Ability to read and comprehend technical andmaintenance documentation

  • Strongproblem-solving skillsandattention to detail

  • ValidClass E Driver’s License

  • COMPTIA A+ Certification or equivalent

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
