Full job description
Education
Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). MSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Must be an RN with current license. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality or Certification in Case Management preferred.
Experience
Must have previous leadership experience. Must have three years of full-time clinical experience in an acute care setting along with Case Management experience and knowledge in EPIC process improvement experience and statistical analysis.
Other Qualifications
Must have strong foundational in leadership principles and application. Makes decisions in an ethical and effective manner. Holds co-workers accountable for outcomes while creating a positive work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possesses strong critical thinking skills. Ability to lead and direct co-workers in a positive and professional manner. Demonstrates continued professional development. Strong working knowledge of information technology. Ability to work collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes. Uses creativity initiative and risk taking in carrying out responsibilities and introducing new ideas or programs. Adapts methodologies in accordance with the current strategies and technology. Demonstrates understanding of managed care concepts. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
