School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: San Jacinto, CA

Pay Rate: Starting at $80.00/hour DOE

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Setting: K-12 School District

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school district in San Jacinto, CA. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and special education staff to support students' communication needs and academic success.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing speech and language services in an educational setting. This position offers a consistent full-time school schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students referred for services.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and IEP goals.

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding services, accommodations, and goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and service logs.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

  • Consult with school staff regarding classroom strategies and communication supports.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license.

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of special education regulations and the IEP process preferred.

Requirements

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  • Current TB clearance (PPD, chest X-ray, or questionnaire, as required).

  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
