Description
Lead the People Function for a Growing Healthcare Organization
A growing healthcare organization in North County is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and serve as a trusted partner to leadership. This is a hands-on management position for someone who enjoys being involved in recruiting, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR strategy. You'll work closely with department leaders and employees while helping build scalable HR processes as the organization continues to grow.
Responsibilities

Manage daily HR operations and priorities

Partner with leadership on employee relations matters

Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives

Guide managers through performance management and employee issues

Maintain compliance with federal and California employment regulations

Oversee benefits, leave administration, and HR policies

Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate employee data and changes
-
Maintain HRIS data and reporting
-
Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives

Lead and mentor HR support staff

Assist leadership with workforce planning and organizational development
Requirements
-
5+ years of progressive HR experience
-
2+ years in an HR management or supervisory capacity
-
Healthcare experience strongly preferred
-
Strong knowledge of California employment law
-
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
-
Excellent employee relations and conflict-resolution skills
-
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
-
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus
