Full job description

Description We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to guide financial operations for an organization. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is comfortable working across a broad range of responsibilities, from financial oversight to insurance and risk-related matters. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management to support sound business decisions.

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities while remaining actively involved in operational and administrative financial matters.

  • Manage insurance programs and address risk-related issues as they arise to help protect the organization’s assets and interests.

  • Partner with colleagues across the office to build positive working relationships and support a cooperative team environment.

  • Provide executive guidance on financial performance, cost controls, and long-term business strategy.

  • Review and contribute to tax-related matters, applying prior experience to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, introduce thoughtful new ideas, and strengthen overall financial effectiveness. Requirements • Prior experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role, preferably with broad responsibility in a smaller business environment.

  • Hands-on knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and overall fiscal management.

  • Familiarity with insurance coordination and risk management considerations within a business setting.

  • Experience working with individual tax matters and related compliance requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a close-knit office.

  • A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of a wide variety of responsibilities.

  • Interest in continuous learning and openness to bringing fresh perspective to the organization.
