Are you ready to bring precision and artistry together in a dynamic work environment? Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter II (2nd shift) to join our team in Jamestown, ND. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, visually stunning products that meet the rigorous standards our customers expect.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements

  • Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control.

  • Follow standard operating procedures and specifications

  • Mix paint to specified viscosity

  • Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment

  • Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary

  • Mask and prep parts for paint as required

  • Cure parts after topcoat application

  • Operate Chart recorders

Qualifications We Require:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email

  • Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
