Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Lincoln, NH

Shift: 2nd shift, 6pm-6am, Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 36 hours per week

What's the Job?

  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to identify issues.

  • Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.

  • Inspect parts for imperfections and measure to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Adjust, lubricate, and clean machinery to maintain optimal performance.

  • Utilize welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair machinery and equipment throughout the facility.

What's Needed?

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.

  • Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be local
