Overview Shifts Available: Days
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Dallas Medical Center - Farmers Branch, TX
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant , also referred to as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Certified Medical Assistants will support both clinical and administrative tasks, such as taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, updating patient records, and coordinating appointments. Medical Assistants will work under the supervision of physicians and nurses in a fast-paced environment, helping to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations.
Responsibilities

Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations and procedures

Assist providers with routine clinical procedures, treatments, and patient care needs

Administer medications and injections as permitted by certification and clinic policy
-
Update patient records, document clinical information, and maintain accurate medical histories

Coordinate prescription refills, lab results, referrals, and follow-up appointment
Qualifications
-
Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.

Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

Work experience in health care preferred.

Medical Assistant Certification.
-
Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
