Located in Port Jefferson, the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital combines advanced clinical expertise with a longstanding commitment to compassionate care. Job Details
Rehabilitation Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and therapist assistants to assist with patient care; maintains the organization and cleanliness of the treatment space; and sets up and maintains cleanliness of equipment.
Responsibilities:

Preparation and clean-up of treatment areas
-
Sets up and maintains cleanliness of equipment.

Assisting staff with patient care under therapist supervision
-
Cleans patient care equipment after every patient use.

Cleans all hot pack and cold pack machines
-
Returns equipment to its proper place and cleans/ prepares treatment areas between patient uses
Requirements:
-
HS Diploma/GED required
-
Experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced department

Must have excellent customer service skills
Salary Range
USD $25.59 - USD $25.59 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
