What you will be doing:

  • Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations, including maintenance and functional groups.

  • Analyze product designs to determine the most efficient manufacturing methods.

  • Specify tools, equipment, and processes for part/assembly production or evaluate existing processes.

  • Direct the design and construction of tools and equipment or recommend process improvements.

  • Develop new tools, equipment, and processes for manufacturing.

  • Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to implement new systems and manage existing ones.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and products.

  • Write and implement work instructions, processes, and procedures for production and department use.

  • Analyze product variations and implement process capability improvements.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing control strategies and productivity improvements.

  • Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.

  • Perform special projects as required.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; or 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

  • Ability to work overtime as required to support production or project work.

  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite

  • Proficient with CAD and modeling software

  • Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures

  • Experience with SAP

  • 3D CAD experience with PTC Creo Parametric
