Monmouth University is seeking applications for temporary Girls Lacrosse Senior Camp Counselors in the Athletics department. Camp counselors will be working with players to enhance their skills.
The Girls Lacrosse Camp is designed to teach each participant the basics of lacrosse, make new friends, and splash around in the pool on campus. We are offering two sections this year: Grades K-2 Boys and Girls, and Grades 3-6 Girls.
All playing levels and abilities will be welcomed.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate would be expected to oversee the student-athlete counselors as well as supervise and train youth participants in all aspects of Lacrosse including skills, game development with hands-on instruction.
2026 Camp is scheduled for:
July 28 - July 30
Camp runs from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm each day.
Counselors are required to pass a background screening and complete mandatory compliance trainings.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.

One year of experience coaching lacrosse at the youth, high school, or college levels.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
