Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator
Location

Office: Eden Prairie, MN
▪
Projects: Twin Cities Region
Compensation
$85k+ based on experience plus benefits and a car allowance

Owner

Clients & Superintendents
Key Ingredients
▪
A minimum of two years of experience working as a Construction Project Manager/Estimator
▪
General Contractor Design/Build experience preferred.
▪
A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or similar
▪
Embodiment of the Shaw Construction values: integrity, service, teamwork, communication, and innovation.
▪
Competence in Word, Excel, MS Project, & Bluebeam; Autodesk a plus
▪
Organized self-starter with strong initiative and work ethic
▪
Analytical mind that enjoys problem-solving
Expectations
Project Development
▪
Assist in business development and client presentations.
▪
Assemble costs, prepare proposals, and other tasks associated with project development.
▪
Act as a customer liaison to coordinate with subcontractors, municipality and governing authorities, and others.
Total Project Management
▪
Manage financial aspects of the project including cost dissection, margin projections, and subcontract bids, awards, and invoices.
▪
Communicate with the owner, including responding to change order requests, invoicing, and coordinating finish selections.
▪
Procure permits and otherwise coordinate with municipalities.
▪
Manage design disciplines, project schedule, and shop drawing review and approval.
▪
Coordinate with your projects’ Superintendent on all matters including safety, quality, and schedule.
▪
Provide a strong close-out process, including punch list completion and occupancy turnover.
