Internship - Supply Chain $20.50 per hour | In Person reporting to Duluth, MN

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with supply chain team members, as well as other ALLETE employees.

  • Assist with administrative tasks.

  • Process low dollar purchase requisitions.

  • Assist with expediting deliveries of parts/materials.

  • Audit purchase orders for compliance with contracts.

  • Assure that vendors and contractors comply with purchase orders and contracts.

  • Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships.

What you'll bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, or Accounting with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028

  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

How to stand out

  • Demonstrate computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, M365)

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Have the ability to work with a variety of people in changing situations

Details & Duration of Internship

  • This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN

  • This role is expected to run approximately from Fall 2026 to Fall 2027

  • The internship will be part-time (16-20 hours per week) during the school year and full time during the summer with the possibility of extending until graduation.

  • ALLETE will comply with college requirements

  • Hours and duration may be subject to change based on company needs
