Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Scientist/Analyst to develop data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics products from large-scale data sources, including hard drive telemetry from data center deployments. The role applies data science to improve product reliability, customer support, and business decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate works end-to-end — from raw data through deployed, maintained systems — and communicates effectively with engineering, sales, executive, and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for prediction and analytics use cases, including retraining, monitoring, and evaluation

Design and maintain automated data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and storage across cloud and on premises environments

Build and support interactive dashboards and automated reporting for internal teams and customers

Develop tooling to onboard and process new data sources, both internal and customer-provided

Work closely with engineering, quality, sales, and marketing stakeholders to formulate problem statements and deliver analytics solutions

Respond to ad hoc data questions and analysis requests from stakeholders as they arise

Communicate key findings to technical and business audiences, including senior stakeholders and customers

Research and evaluate new techniques and technologies in data science and machine learning

Maintain clear documentation and technical standards
Required Qualifications:
-
M.S. or B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent
-
3 years of professional experience delivering data science or data engineering projects to production
-
Proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as common Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn

Experience with machine learning frameworks, model training, and validation

Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google cloud)

Experience with Git and version control workflows

Strong problem solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with large-scale time series or sensor data
-
Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments

Dashboard and data product development experience
-
Experience with GPU computing and on-premises ML development
-
Familiarity with AI tools and their application to development and analytics workflows

Storage industry or hardware domain knowledge
Salary Range: $99,400 - $140,000
