Full job description
About Theo AI Theo Ai builds the tools that are changing how litigation actually gets done. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with the attorneys who use our products — people who expect precision, speed, and judgment — and we hold ourselves to that same bar. Our two legal AI product lines turn the messy reality of legal work into something faster and sharper, so that lawyers can spend their time on strategy and outcomes instead of grunt work.
We’re a small, highly collaborative team where everyone has meaningful ownership, works closely with customers, and helps shape the product. We value curiosity, initiative, thoughtful communication, and people who aren't afraid to raise their hand, challenge ideas, and solve hard problems together.
The Role We're hiring an Account Executive to run full-cycle sales into corporate legal departments and law firms. You'll own your own pipeline from first conversation through close, working closely with GCs, heads of litigation, and legal operations leaders. This is a seat for someone who's familiar with how legal departments actually operate and wants to build a career on the sales side of it, in an early-stage environment where the playbook is still evolving and you'll help shape it.
What You'll Do
- Run discovery, demo, and proof-of-concept conversations with legal department buying committees (GC, Head of Litigation, Legal Ops, Procurement)
- Own your pipeline end to end, from first call to signed contract
- Bring subject matter experts in at the right moments while you drive the deal
- Build relationships inside law firms, corporate legal departments, and adjacent legal-tech circles
- Turn your existing legal network into warm introductions and referrals
- Help shape the sales process itself. Feed what you're learning in the field back into how the team sells
- Keep deals moving with clear next steps and honest forecasting
About You You're familiar with how legal departments think and operate, whether from practicing law, working in legal ops, or selling into legal before. You're now building a career in sales, and you likely fit one of these:
- You've practiced law or worked in legal operations and have sales experience (5+ years, or at least two full sales cycles)
- You've practiced law or worked in legal operations without formal sales experience, but you've been directly responsible for growing a firm's client base or book of business
Beyond that background, you're a builder who's comfortable with organized chaos, entrepreneurial, and coachable. You take initiative without waiting to be told the next move, communicate clearly, and pick things up fast. You're energized by an evolving playbook, not looking for one that's already been handed to you.
Qualifications Required
- JD or several years working directly inside legal departments/law firms, or direct experience selling into legal buyers
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow relationships that turn into revenue or new business
- Comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving environment with a playbook that's still being built
Preferred
- Formal B2B sales experience, particularly full-cycle
- Existing relationships inside corporate legal departments or Am Law firms
