Full job description

Liberty Healthcare is hiring for a Level of Needs Assessor position.

Employment term

This is a temporary position which will support a time-limited project commencing in mid-October and continuing for approximately two to five months.

Applicants must be willing to fully commit the entire duration of the project.

Background

A Level of Need (LON) assessment serves as a cornerstone in providing personalized care for individuals who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This assessment helps identify the amount, type, and intensity of support needed across various domains of daily living – and is crucial for ensuring that care services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, promoting their independence and quality of life.

What you’ll do

  • Receive training on the Level of Needs (LON) assessment

  • Administer LON assessments to individuals who are living with developmental disabilities

  • Meet primarily by video and occasionally in-person with people and their families, guardians and caregivers

  • Complete structured forms and reports within established timeframes

Where you’ll work

You will primarily work remotely from your home office and occasionally be required to travel to in-person meetings in the local region – including Moscow, Letah County and the surrounding counties.

Pay and perks

  • $38.46 per hour

  • $3,500 retention bonus payable at the end of the project assignment

  • Consideration for permanent long-term / full-time employment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field

  • At least one year of experience supporting people who are living with autism, developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

To be considered, you must reside in Idaho.
