Kiln Fireman
Stanton, KY
General Shale Brick is seeking a Kiln Fireman to join our manufacturing facility in Stanton, Kentucky. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor kiln computers and associated control systems to ensure proper operation

Inspect kiln components and document any issues or irregularities
-
Check loaded kiln cars entering and exiting the kiln

Monitor scrubbers and other environmental control equipment

Perform general labor tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting as required

Maintain safe, efficient, and continuous kiln operations during assigned shift
Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing or kiln operation experience preferred

Ability to perform physical labor, including bending, stooping, and lifting

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety

Reliable attendance and ability to work night shift hours
