Salary Range $19.47 - $19.47 Hourly

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED required. 2. Experience working with children who have behavioral and/or mental health issues preferred. 3. Must have a valid and clean New York State drivers license and at least 2 years of driving experience. Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities and Competencies:

  2. Commitment to embracing and following the Seven Commitments of the Santuary Model. 2. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. 3. Utilization of interpersonal problem-solving skills. 4. Understanding the basic needs and developmental challenges of children in a way that respects their individually and promotes growth and ensure physical and emotional safety. 5. Understanding of appropriate infection control practices, including appropriate hand washing procedures. 6. Follows mandated reporting requirements regarding child abuse and neglect. 7. Asks age and developmentally appropriate questions and actively listens to children’s responses. 8. Valid and clean New York State driving license.
