Rate: $18.50 USD per hour
Description

We're looking for an energetic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. If you enjoy social media, meeting people, attending community events, and creating engaging content, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while helping showcase the people, purpose, and community involvement that make SBSU unique. This is an in-office position based in St. George, Utah and is not a remote opportunity.

As a Marketing Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

Gain practical marketing and communications experience

Help highlight the stories of employees, customers, and community organizations making a difference
What You'll Do
Social Media Support
-
Assist in creating, planning, and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
-
Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices and share ideas for new content and engagement opportunities

Capture photo and video content at branch locations, community events, and marketing activities
Community Engagement
-
Assist with sponsorships and community events, including booth opportunities, golf tournaments, parades, Parade of Homes events, and other activities that support SBSU's community involvement goals
-
Represent SBSU professionally at community events and networking opportunities
-
Take minutes during monthly Washington County Community Relations Committee meetings
Marketing Team Support

Assist the Marketing team with executing strategies that support the bank's purpose, cause, and reputation
-
Provide support for special marketing projects, campaigns, and internal communication needs

Perform additional related duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Minimum Qualifications
-
Strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communications
-
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
-
Basic video editing skills for short-form content
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
-
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business, or a related field

Experience creating content for a business, organization, school club, personal brand, or other group

Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools
-
Photography, videography, or video editing experience
