The Accountant plays a dynamic role that is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial accounting of our North American (N.A.) market as well as the ability to build relationships on a global scale as many business partners (i.e. global senior management, group finance or HR) are located in Europe. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on accounting as well as project work to further improve processes and financial procedures and shows high quality standards in their work. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply today!

Your daily workout:

  • Process Design: Act as a key thought partner in designing, scaling, and establishing robust, controlled accounting processes that support the rapid expansion of the N.A. market.

  • Core Accounting: Manage the day-to-day accounting functions for EGYM Inc., including Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.

  • Expense Compliance: Review and verify employee expenses for policy compliance.

  • Account Reconciliations: Prepare account reconciliations and execute internal control procedures to guarantee accuracy and integrity of EGYM financial results.

  • Audit Support: Help ensure the company follows US GAAP and serve as an integral point of contact for external audits, gathering all necessary documentation and support.

  • Process Automation: Work with EGYM Global Teams to iterate, automate, and improve financial procedures and reporting processes.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial results, ensuring N.A. data is ready for group-level consolidation.

  • Special Projects: Maintain flexibility to tackle special projects as the N.A. footprint continues to scale rapidly.

Your fitness level:

  • Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA and/or CPA is a plus, but not required).

  • Work Experience: 3–5+ years of Accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, international, or high-growth environment.

  • Teamwork Skills: Confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.

  • Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization).

  • Time Management: Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Onsite Presence: Ability to work onsite at our Denver, CO office 2–3 days per week.

Your Training Goal For Your First 6 Months:

  • Month-End Close: Independently execute assigned North American month-end close processes within a 3-business-day window, ensuring all data is finalized with the precision required for global consolidation.

  • Workflow Autonomy: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the EGYM business cycle to proactively prioritize high-impact tasks and manage workflow with full autonomy.

  • Policy Enforcement: Act as a vigilant gatekeeper by identifying and rectifying policy non-compliance, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Process Optimization: Drive a culture of "constant improvement" by identifying at least one process bottleneck and implementing a scalable, tech-forward solution.

Your training equipment:

  • Base Compensation: Annual base salary range of $80,000 – $95,000.

  • Benefits Package: Competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, monthly wellness, phone and internet stipends, 14 paid holidays per year, and PTO.
