Material Planner
Location: Farmington, CT
The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:

Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production plan.

Order all Serial Production parts from vendors/suppliers in correct QTY and to correct time to meet production demand.

Works with suppliers to expedite or defer materials as dictated by changes in internal and external customer requirements and to meet production and inventory objectives.

Communicates near-term and mid-range demand forecasts with suppliers to ensure material availability

Identifies and escalates issues that may impact production or customer delivery timelines
