Summary
You will serve as a HR SPECIALIST (EMPL REL/PERF MGMT) in the Secretariat Human Resources Office of DEPUTY UNDER SECRETARY OF THE NAVY - MANAGEMENT.
Duties
- You will serve as a senior advisor to directors, managers, and supervisors on the full range of ER issues, including conduct, attendance, medical issues, and grievance procedures.
- You will serve as the command representative or lead technical advisor in third-party administrative proceedings.
- You will consult with and guides supervisors in resolving complex workplace conflict, facilitate informal resolutions, and draft formal settlement agreements.
- You will serve as the primary operational point of contact for command-wide performance appraisal cycles.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience delivering expert advisory services and guidance on federal civilian conduct, performance, attendance, and dispute resolution. Experience advising senior management on appropriate disciplinary and corrective techniques responsive to complex civilian conduct and performance problems.
