Account Representative - Self Pay Collector

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an Account Representative - Self Pay Collector to work in our Avon Business office. This representative will be responsible for completing accurate billing processes and collecting self-pay balances. Candidates must currently reside in Indiana or be willing to relocate. This position will require in-office attendance during the initial training period, with the possible opportunity for a hybrid work schedule thereafter.

Essential Job Functions Include:

• Processes claims in a timely and accurate fashion

• Makes telephone inquiries on delinquent claims

• Interacts with consumers in a polite and respectful manner

• Ensures confidentiality of consumer records

• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• 2-3 years experience in computerized medical billing, coding, and collections

• Knowledge of third-party payers, billing requirements, and reimbursement methods

• Experience with spreadsheets and word processing is preferred
