Job Description
Description
The Allocation and Inventory Support Specialist is responsible for analyzing customer inventory levels of live plants and creating replenishment orders. This person will be the primary lead on all allocations of products to stores within the Midwest region. Will partner with Greenhouse management and logistic team to achieve company efficiency objectives.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Work with product category managers to ensure store inventory level standards are maintained
Write daily/weekly store orders to replenish consignment inventory
Work closely with Warehouse & Logistics teams to help maximize freight utilization and order priority
Insure an accurate and update product availability is maintained
Communicate with “contract growers” crop statis, timing, and shipping schedules.
Share responsibility for proper data processes on shipped product.
Provide effective and necessary communication with Bell Merchandising Team
Assist in various production tasks and processes when needed
Special projects will be assigned as they arise
Become familiar with other site locations and learn their processes and know the differences among them to be a back in the event others are out.

Skills and Competencies – Basic Qualifications
Highly organized
Strong work ethic
Strong attention to detail
Basic Excel, Power Point, Word – Microsoft software literacy
Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment
Ability to complete tasks while maintaining order
Previous greenhouse, nursery or supervisory suggested but not required
Requirements
Must have weekend availability during peak months of our season
Working knowledge and prior experience of Microsoft Office Suite of products and email
High School Diploma or equivalent
Access to reliable transportation
Effective communication skills
Candidate must be able to sit for long periods of time writing orders
Ability to travel if needed
Working Conditions
Distribution center and greenhouses requiring the ability to sit, stand and walk as needed to interact with employee and managers
Office with weekly outside and inside greenhouse walking required.
