TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Location: Corporate Office in Orchard Park, NYHourly Rate: $25.96 - $27.40

NPMA is a family-owned property management company based in Western New York that owns and operates apartment complexes in five states. We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team working out of our Orchard Park, NY corporate offices. This is an in-office position with two days per month work from home.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:

Supporting our non-technical end users by phone and through remote sessions is a key part of the role, so patience and clear communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate enjoys assisting others, takes pride in providing outstanding customer service and remains confident and persistent when tackling unusual or undocumented issues.

ABOUT THIS POSITION:

  • Troubleshoot an resolve issues in our core application, MRI Property Management, as well as general hardware, software and cloud technology needs.

  • Maintain appropriate Helpdesk Notes in documenting issues through resolution.

  • Periodically assist in configuring and/or deploying new computers/tablets.

  • May assist in managing or configuring other cloud applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years relevant experience in application or technical support

  • Ability to learn unfamiliar applications quickly

  • Professional and respectful attitude, is personable and enjoys helping people

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Uses a methodical approach to problem solving
