Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in Research Triangle Park, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.

• Monitor access points and observe arrivals and departures in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for authorized occupants and visitors.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established procedures.

• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
