Job Duties
This is a school term, job level 4, 19.25 hours per week position at the Paul Bunyan Center. The purpose of this position is to assist teachers in the instruction of students. The schedule is:
o Monday: 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. (7.5 hrs/day)
o Tuesday: 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (3.75 hrs/day)
o Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (3.75 hrs/day)
o Thursday: 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (4.25 hrs/day)
o Friday: Off
This position does not require a license, however, our paraprofessional positions require candidates to be considered "highly qualified" under the Code of Federal Regulations.
This status requires: 1) At least two years of college credits through an accredited institution of higher education (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits); or 2) An associate's or higher degree; or 3) A passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each.
