Full job description

About Us Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are setting up our first software driven factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician with experience in operating and maintaining CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, programming, and troubleshooting CNC equipment. As a key member of our manufacturing team, the CNC Technician will ensure the efficient and precise production of modular building components using CNC lumber saws, sheet material routers, and robotic framing technology.

  • Monitor production to ensure components meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in CNC machining or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining CNC machinery.

  • Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Passion for sustainable building and innovative manufacturing technologies.
